The Newham 24Hour non-stop Relay 2013


The Newham 24Hour non-stop Relay, organised by East End Road Runners, is to take place between Noon 10th Aug - Noon 11th Aug 2013 at Terence McMillan Stadium [Newham Leisure Centre] 281 Prince Regent Lane, London, E13 8SD

The event is a non-stop baton carrying relay [inspired by the symbolism of the Olympic Torch Relay] which sees 3 teams, in 3 different lanes of the Terence Mcmillan Stadium 400M running track, running / jogging / walking continuously for 24 hours, trying to complete as many KMs in that time as possible.

Each mixed ability team will attempt to run the farthest but also jointly try to run farther than 500 miles / 800km as a combined total.

This FREE event, is open to the public as well as members of local running groups and clubs.

Slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Entry is by pre-registration only.


Event Time Slots

NB. The length of Lane 1 is 400 metres.

Please Note Lane 1 is made up of Run England (RE), East End Road Runners (EERR) and Eton Manor (EM).

NB. The length of Lane 3 is 414.7 metres.
