Run England is the official England Athletics recreational running project which aims to get everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, aspiration, background, or location, participating more in running. All Run England groups are led by qualified Leaders in Running Fitness [LiRF].
The three club coaches at East End Road Runners are aided by an additional ten qualified Leaders in Running Fitness. Several of these coaches and leaders, in addition to helping with the club's own training sessions, also organise and actively support several of the Run England Groups in Newham [and beyond].
Those wishing to join East End Road Runners, that perhaps feel in need of some preparatory training, are encouraged to try any of Newham's excellent Run England groups. The weekly Tuesday 6pm session at Terence McMillan stadium is especially recommended, as it is led by an EERR coach, and held immediately before the club's own Tuesday 7pm speedwork session.
The hope and aim is that those completely new to running, or using the sessions as a way to build up fitness, will in time become interested in becoming members of the club.
