On Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May, we are holding a 10K fundraising event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for our Moore Family Foundation programme. All the money raised will go towards the development of the programme which aims to support up to 16,000 Year 6 children in East London.
The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be used to kick-off the second sponsored fundraising event for the Moore Family Foundation. The fundraising event will involve a chosen method of journey (walking or running) and will grace West Ham United’s new home in Stratford. One of the key aims of the Moore Family Foundation is to promote healthy lifestyles among young people and subsequently, the event will be supported by Diabetes UK to help drive the awareness of healthy eating and regular physical activity within families.
The sponsored journey event will be accessible to both children and adults, facilitating two methods of journey – running or walking. Fundraisers will complete a 10k journey around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Stadium, with photo opportunities available. At the end of the journey, each participant will receive a Moore Family Foundation goodie bag and participation medal.
